GenerateElement Method (GoXmlTransformer)

Start producing an XML element for a given object.

Parameters

obj: the object being generated

Return Value

true if it started an element

Remarks

This is called by GoXmlWriter.GenerateObject. By default this starts an element named by ElementName, if it is non-null. If ElementName is null, this calls GenerateElement on the InheritsFromTransformer, to allow another specific transformer to implement this behavior, or else calls GoXmlWriter.GoXmlWriter.InvokeGenerateElement, to allow this TransformerType's base Type to provide a default behavior.
