Editable Property

Gets or sets whether the user can edit this object.
Syntax
'Declaration

<DescriptionAttribute("Whether users can edit this object.")>
<CategoryAttribute("Behavior")>
<DefaultValueAttribute()>
Public Overridable Property Editable As Boolean
[DescriptionAttribute("Whether users can edit this object.")]
[CategoryAttribute("Behavior")]
[DefaultValueAttribute()]
public virtual bool Editable {get; set;}

Property Value

This defaults to false. You should normally call the CanEdit method instead of getting this property.
Remarks
A false value prevents the user from editing this object by the normal mechanisms. Even when this property value is true, this object might not be editable by the user because the layer or document disallows it, or because the view disallows it. Your code can always edit objects programmatically by calling obj.DoBeginEdit(aView).
Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
